How do I get involved in Enfield LINk?
The first step is to let the Host or the LINk know you are interested. This is called ‘Expressing an Interest’. There are different ways to be involved, the following are suggested ways:
- Join in consultations or focus groups or complete surveys either regularly or occasionally
- Receive monthly or bi-monthly mailings, maybe you are only interested in being kept informed
- Attend regular or occasional meetings and events
- Join a working group or committee
- Help to find out other people’s views
- Comment or make suggestions on particular kinds of services you are particularly interested in.
You can give as much time as you can, it’s up to you. LINks have a lot of freedom to focus on what they think are the most important issues for local people, but in each area individuals and groups must decide how the LINk will be run in a fair and effective way.
